The Brigades' Band

Although Ipswich Boys' Brigade and Girls' Brigade do not have a bugle & drum band of their own, there is a combined Boys' and Girls' Brigade Band. This band is open to all current, and ex-members, of the brigades. Hence it is called The Brigades' Band. It is totally independant from the Boys'/Girls' Brigades but does support both organisations in Ipswich and beyond.

Current Bandmaster is Mr. Doug Storey.

Not only does the Band play at Brigade events but is available for any event, such as school fetes, street fairs, parades and other open air events.

We rehearse regularly and anyone wishing to join can contact Doug or come along to one of our rehearsals.
